Rusty River Barn Wedding | Sarah + Caleb

This wedding day was so laidback, sweet and intimate. I loved everything about this day! I went to high school with Sarah + Caleb, so when I got a text asking if I could shoot their wedding day, I was so excited! I knew these two separately, but had never really been around them while they were together, but boy do they love each other! I loved getting to witness the sweet, gentle, silly love these two share for one another.

The weather was perfect for their summer wedding at Rusty River Barn. All of the flowers and bouquets were made by Caleb’s sisters, and were absolutely stunning. And though Sarah said she only had a couple dresses to choose from that matched her height, she found the PERFECT one for her at David’s Bridal, looking like a literal goddess. I arrived just in time for a short prayer amongst the bridesmaids before Sarah’s mom and dad walked her down the aisle. And even more special was Sarah’s dad officiating the ceremony! I loved getting to watch the love surrounding these two on their day, and how excited they both were to be getting married! They had the prettiest outdoor ceremony, with their reception following in The Glass House at Rusty River Barn, with the doors all open, letting in the warm air and afternoon light!

“The one thing I loved most about the location was that it was outside surrounded by wildflowers and trees!” –Sarah

Sarah was the most modest bride, not wanting to be the center of attention at ALLLL, and I remember talking with Sarah’s maid of honor trying to coordinate a father/daughter dance! We knew it would be special for them, even though they hadn’t really planned on doing one, and that made it even sweeter!

“What I remember most about my wedding day was when my parents, siblings, and grandparents all danced together at the end of the father/daughter dance! It was a super special moment,” –Sarah

The rest of the day was filled with delicious food, the CUTEST cake cutting, and lots of dancing from all the children! And of course, we snuck away from some stunning shots out in the fields, and the day ended with a super fun bubble-exit!
