White Fence Acres Fall Wedding in Ohio | Sarah + Clay

Sarah + Clay originally had their wedding planned for August 2020. Obviously, we all know how that went, lol! The two still decided to head to the courthouse and get married in 2020, but postponed the celebration. A bit more rescheduling around Clay’s Air Force deployment, and they eventually landed on October 2021. After about four date changes, I was finally able to spend an incredible day with them celebrating their marriage in the fall at The Barn at White Fence Acres. Might I say it was well worth the wait! These two are the sweetest pair, and it was apparent the love they have for each other the whole entire day!
White Fence Acres is such a stunning, elegant, and versatile venue, and with the touch from Hilliard Floral Design, it was perfect. There’s space for indoor and outdoor ceremonies, and so many beautiful spots to sneak away for those special pictures of the bride and groom.
“I LOVED that it felt classy and also rustic. We got the barn/country feel but everything inside and around the venue was very put together.” - Sarah
Sarah and I went to the same high school, only a year apart, as well as a couple of the bridesmaids, so we had a blast hanging out in the brides quarters all morning. Champagne was popped, subs were eaten, and I even helped Sarah put on some lashes for the day! Not quite my specialty, but Sarah was stunning either way! And can we talk about the DRESS for a minute?! It was the most elegant and classy look from Luxe Redux Bridal Boutique. Before the ceremony, we snuck away the bride and groom for an intimate first look, then frolicked around the fields in the back of White Fence Acres for some photos.
“My favorite memory from our wedding was our first look. It was such a private and intimate moment just between the two of us.” - Sarah
After the ceremony, the groomsmen had too much fun driving the golf cart around, charioting the bridesmaids and the bride to the back for more stunning photos, which ended with some more dancing around the field with Sarah and Clay. Then, the party started! Speeches + special dances + pizza for dinner (yummmmm!) from a local shop right down the road at Highland Pizza and Ice Cream. Sarah, Clay and I snuck out ONE more time at sunset for a few more pictures (bless her for wanting to take advantage of the light as much as me!).
