Sunset Cliffs Couples Session in San Diego | Nick + Raychel

All I have to say is WOW, literally the hottest couple around! Nick and Raychel are Canada natives that live in their ambulance and started exploring the US since their overseas travel plans were interrupted due to covid. Seriously, these two are the coolest ever. I first met Nick and Raychel at a birthday party for a friend in the Arizona desert (the most #vanlife thing ever, lol). Having hardly known this pair, they offered me a drink and later invited a few of us for a shot in the ambulance. What I’m saying is these two are so dang kind and truly wonderful people.

Nick and Raychel have been traveling together for years now, and I could listen to their stories all day long. One of their first times traveling together was moving to Cambodia for a year!! How COOL! If you want to get a serious travel bug, just ask them about the places they’ve been together. They got married in 2021, but we decided while we were both in San Diego that we would hit up Sunset Cliffs for a fun little session on the coast. This was actually my first time at Sunset Cliffs, and it was STUNNING! As a Midwesterner, shooting at the beach for the first time was splendid to say the least. The contrast of the orange-y cliffs with the soft blue water on an overcast day was * chefs kiss *. With Nick and Raychel being avid Youtubers and content creators (check out the rest of their sick travels here!), they were naturals in front of the camera and slayed the entire shoot. We got to all three explore and experience the some of the beauty that San Diego offers, all the while making art in the process! I had so much fun creating with these two, and am so excited to see them again down the road.
